Looking for teammates for the hackathon?

A few notes:

  • Teams are optional — solo submissions are welcome.
  • Teams can include up to three participants.
  • Prizes are awarded per team. If your team wins, you’ll decide who receives the GPU prize.
  • Prizes can only be shipped to participants located in North America due to export restrictions.

Hey everyone i am super excited about this event! My name is Jacob and i want to build something cool with mojo.

  • I would like to use this event to take a model implemented in pytorch like Whisper and port it into Mojo.
  • Moderate python experience with no GPU experience
  • Virtual, operating in CST
  • I have a lil mac mini M4 for light inference

If anyone wants to team up that would be neat!

If anybody wants to help me on this project or mentor, I’m looking to learn! Recent undergrad, done some C and Python and touches of CUDA.
