**Mojo 1.0 is out today! šŸ„³** Since we open-sourced the standard library in 2024, nearly 200 contributors have landed pull requests touching 200k+ lines of code, and over 1,000 more of you have filed issues that shaped the language. If you filed an issue, opened a PR, wrote a language proposal, or built a package: **thank you.** Youā€™ve been architects of this language alongside us. ![Mojo_1_0](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex001/uploads/modular/original/2X/d/d596c2a81a08b0704560572ee0d93702e0b25958.jpeg) 1.0 does not mean the language is finished. It means you can build on a solid foundation without constant breaking changes. During 1.x, changes should primarily be additive. Breaking changes may still happen, but weā€™ll manage them with care, following the standards of how mature languages evolve. Weā€™re making that commitment now because Mojo is ready. We depend on it every day in production at Modular. Also new in MAX with this release: - Install just what you need with `max[ā€œserveā€]` or `max[ā€œbenchmarkā€]` - Two new model families: GLM-5.2 and Nemotron-H Get started: ```auto uv pip install --upgrade mojo uv pip install max[all] ``` More on where Mojo, MAX, and our open source work go next at ModCon, August 18 in SF. Congrats, this is exciting! Also, weā€™ve updated our Mojo Pro IDE plugin ([https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/31943-mojo-pro/](https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/31943-mojo-pro/)) now to support Mojo 1.0.0, so hopefully this helps to make it even easier to use Mojo!
