Have an exciting talk on MAX or Mojo accepted at a major conference? We want to help you get there! :airplane: :luggage:

If you’re presenting a MAX or Mojo-focused talk at a conference, you may be eligible for a travel grant from Modular to help cover your expenses:

  • $1,000 for domestic conferences within your home country
  • $2,000 for international conferences outside your home country

Note that a few restrictions apply, including but not limited to the following:

  • The conference must have at least 250+ attendees.
  • There must be a publicly accessible recording of the talk posted online within 90 days of the conference.
  • You must reach out before the conference (we can’t reimburse you for past talks, unfortunately).

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Important Tax Information: Recipients of the grant must provide a Form W-9 (for U.S. persons) or Form W-8 (for non-U.S. persons) before receiving payment. Modular is required to report grants of $600 or more on Form 1099-NEC for U.S. recipients, and payments to non-U.S. persons may be subject to U.S. tax withholding unless a tax treaty applies.
